The Light Weight Full Body Anti Riot Gearoffers maximum protection for most parts of a Police officer’s body with the exception of the head, for which an anti-riot helmet and visor will be required. Protective gloves can also be supplied. Suit weight is approximately 6.6kg.
It comes in its own storage/carrying case and can easily be put on and removed. It provides a lightweight and comfortable fit and is usually worn over a protective coverall. It will protect the operator from trauma by absorbing hard shocks and knocks, as virtually no penetration or cracks will appear on the anti-riot suit. The outfit also protects against knife stabs and is fire retardant and acid and alkali-resistant.
It can be adjusted by Velcro and belt fastenings to fit a wearer with a height of approximately 165cm – 190cm. It consists of the front torso, elbow and fore-arm protector, thigh protector, shin and knee protector, belt, tonfa (small folding baton) holder and a carrying case.
